Radial Books is an independent publisher specializing in contemporary poetry and fiction, as well as forms that defy easy categorization. We lean toward interlinked themes and characters across works and toward narrative poetry and lyrical fiction. However, we are not bound by these preferences.

We do not charge reading fees and highly encourage you to purchase titles directly from our site. Sales keep us reading and publishing. 

Send your complete manuscript of poetry or literary fiction, along with a brief overview of the work and a short biography directly to [email protected]. 

We read year-round. If you have not received a response at the year mark, you can assume we have decided not to publish your work. Given the number of submissions that we receive, we are not always able to respond with a personal message. This is by no means a judgement on your work, only that it does not suit us.

We publish up to three books annually, and are interested in publishing multiple works by an individual writer. To this end, we
offer one of the more writer-favorable contracts in small press publishing. Click here to view our agreement.
